Eat Positive(ly) - The Food Label Game

​Have you ever asked yourself which is healthier - peanut butter M&M's or Nutella? How do you know which breakfast bar to take with you in the morning? Check out this quick label reading game the next time you wish to compare foods!

Note: Sodium should be ≤5% of DV per serving. Look for foods providing ≥ 10% DV for potassium 
"Positive" foods are healthy. "Negative" foods should be avoided. "Zero" foods are ambivalent. 

Add one point if ≥10% of the DV
 
o Vitamin A
o Vitamin C
o Iron
o Calcium
o Protein (≥5 g)
o Fiber (aim for 3 g or more) 

Subtract 1 point if...

o Kcals >200
o Fat ≥10% DV
o Trans fat>2g
o Sugars>8g
